When he arrived he heard another tremble.....and there sitting on the floor talking to himself was the Great Goron...
But i didn't feel like him...
He was muttering darkly to himself....
Behind his back, Bakura drew a handful of shuriken...and closed in on the giant ball...

'FUINULAK! Look at that mountain!'

Malon barely stopped running to look. The clouds were back - but...
The mountain had been destroyed. A huge part of it had been torn out, and fresh lava was spewing into the nearby river.

Not looking where she was going, Malon collided with someone. She fell to the floor. Looking up, she saw it was Zelda. Or...

Malon blinked. It was gone. Zelda had been there - hovering a foot above the ground, engulfed in a purple flame.

'It's only starting, foolish girl.'

Malon saw a glisten in the grass. It was a bottle. One of Zelda's favorites... and it was filled with a black liquid. The cork came off with a loud pop, and purple smoke started to rise out.

A Zora. That was it. Malon needed to find the Zoras.

By the way, Fuinulak is untranslated Hyrulian for, well, use your imagination.

Zelda was not grinning. She had her eyes fixed on the beast. In one hand, she held a vial of black liquid. That same liquid was now spreading through the 'Mighty King' of the feeble rock creatures.

It would not be long. Barley audibley, she let out a small laugh.

The Zora Doctor shuddered. He had heard of this, but had never imagined it could be used.
Melon had been keeping quiet, but her eyes betrayed her questions.

He had to answer that one question that she needed to ask.

The Royal Guards had no choice. True, Zelda had been ill, but she had recovered and was in sound condition to make the call. That creature had definetly been a Goron.

As they entered the Goron cavern, they saw...

The village was deserted.

Kakashi and Zelda were both thinking the same thing. The Gorons would already be following their leader, who was slowly being poisioned.

Great Goron had no more air to groan. He just looked in shock. His brain had reverted to a primitive state. Zelda - bad? Sheikah? Bad? Hyrule Market - bad place?

Meanwhile, a fire crackled, with Zelda's robes on them. She hated the ridiculous get-up that poncy girl was wearing - and she was a direct copy of her!

She'd show them who was a princess. Even the Sheikah.

"I reckon another seventy eight hours before his brain collapses..."
"Hehe...good. Now i must contact the other selected candidates(The other bad chosen warrior from each tribte)"Kakashi sat down and closed his left eye. He was contacting the other members of the council.
"When did you learn that?!" said the princess shocked.
"You underestimate the sheikah too much..."

On its own a Poe is incredibly dangerous - it is pure, concentrated evil - the only remants of twisted and wretched souls.

But liquid Poe is deadly - it corrupts and destroys any foolish enough to ingest it. And if Zelda had taken some - and the Great Goron, then...

The shadow closed its eyes and concentrated. There was only one person who could've given that poison to Zelda. And that was...

'Me.'

Kakashi stepped out of the shadows.

'You thourght you were the last - Impa.'

The pounder had now submitted to the darkness, his eyes, a giant black hole, that could suck you in...

"By now the poison should have settled, what are you going to do? He's just an empty shell," said Bakura Kakashi with a smug look in his scarred eye.
"I'm going to take you down!" Impa's eyes were now dark flares. "How could you? You grew up with her, she trusted you!" Tears welled in her eyes.
"Well, she should learn. Learn who to trust," Bakura's eyes flashed. "Bring it!"

Woah. This is good. Apart from the black holes. They wouldn't have known about Black Holes.

'da... Zelda - Zelda!'

The Princess shook her head. Ruto was standing in front of her - and not looking happy.

'What?'

Ruto fixed her eyes on her. 'Have you drunk any of this, Zelda?' She thrust a bottle at her. It was full of black liquid. The same that Baku-

'Well!?' Ruto demanded. Zelda tried to form words, but just stuttered in shock.

'I-but-he... yes. That's the drink that Ba-'

'That Bakura gave you.' Ruto sighed. Zelda looked on in shock - the Zora Queen had never spoken to her in such a way. No one had.

'Ruto, what is this?' Zelda managed to blurt out.

Ruto looked her in the eye.
'It's poison. Essence of Poe.' she replied, slow and grave.

Those words hit Zelda hard. Bakura had given her poison? Bakura - her boyfriend in school - until... Link...

'Oh, Link...' Zelda found herself saying out loud.

'What?' Ruto demanded, snapping her out of her past.

'Li- Nothing.' Zelda stuttered. Ruto sighed again, then turned and left, leaving the bewildered Princess to think over what she had just learnt.

Legend of Zelda
Great Goron hadn't been seen for weeks. Not since the strange human had entered his sacred chamber.

That was a chilling day. The creature moved so smoothly it seemed unnatural. Its footsteps echoed around the entire hall, silencing everything - its footprints made the ground cold as ice.

The unnerving chill had not left. Great Goron never let anyone in - despite his warm openness to any other Goron, he refused to see anyone. All that was heard was the occasional moan, and mumbling that couldn't be made out. It sounded like the Great Goron was talking to himself.

The Zoras were quickly called in – Link, son of Darunia, who had been made second in command, was eager to see his leader again. But even the Zoras with their extensive knowledge of healing could not even judge the cause of Great Goron's woe.

But things had become worse. The signature cloud of ring that surrounded Death Mountain had disappeared. The ground was beginning to shake...
Bakura Kakashi - known as the spirit sealer, overlooked the barren Gerudo desert. The Sheikah had occupied Gerudo valley – under the mysterious King’s orders.
He had been silent for days, but this wasn’t uncommon for him. He barely talked to anyone, not even the Gerudo princess, Anzu Hiroto.
But this time it was different. He had not been in human contact or even glanced at a human since that day - the day he received the letter from the Shiekah leader, Honda Uzamaki...
They were finally going to go for ‘it’. This troubled him, which was rare. He rarely showed emotion, unless you look at his left eye. In that red pupil of his, you could see the nightmares of his childhood.
His left eye showed no emotion. Almost talking to the blood red sunset, his breath made words. "This is going to be exiting…”
The Gerudos weren't too pleased with this. The Sheikahs had moved into their valley and were encouraging them to the way to Ganondorf. This was stupid, frankly, because he was dead.
Link knocked on Great Goron’s door, awaiting the same result - the same groan of a barely audible beg for quiet. To be left alone.
To his surprise, the door opened the moment he knocked. Hesitantly, he went in.
The chamber was in ruins. The tapestry had been torn down, the torches knocked to the floor, the throne on its side - and Great Goron nowhere to be seen. Link tried to form words. 'Great... Gor-'
The rumbling started again, drowning him out, but they were getting common now. It would die out in a few seconds. It always did.
It didn't.
Link looked around, puzzled. Then dust started falling from the ceiling.
'Oh, fuinulak-' Link swore, before the roof of the chamber crashed down, silencing him.
The rumbling grew louder...
Chapter Two
4 rupees an egg - score. Malon was getting good at selling - the extra money she got always went to Zelda, of course, this brought her in contact with the Princess, which is always a good thing.
Except the Princess had been ill lately - she had been for a fortnight, and Malon once again found herself wondering why. Was it from the horses - had Malon given it to her?
Horses. Just thinking about them brought Malon back to her childhood - and the boy. Link. And Epona - she had disappeared along with the forest boy, and what did you know, the guy had become a legend...
Sheesh, he might have put in a word for her - she'd given him Epona. Aye aye aye...
Malon shook her head cast her daydreaming aside. Talon would be getting impaitent. Or he would've gone back to sleep again.
A shadow fell over the market, and people started screaming. Malon looked up to see a huge... thing... fall closer and closer to her-
A blur. Malon hit the floor. She felt something holding her - and-
No one was there. Someone saved her from that thing and had disappeared.
And speaking of that thing - it was a foot. Looking up, Malon saw a giant beast looming over her. And that was a weird thing. She was looking her death in the face. She wasn't panicking. The creature wasn't angry, like in the stories. It was confused.
A shower of arrows whistled overhead, at the beast. It yelped, and stumbled as the tiny pricks penetrated it's skin. It turned and ran.
Malon looked around her. The stalls were crushed. The tables over-turned. As she looked, she started feeling light headed. Blackness surrounded her, and she unwillingly submitted to unconsciousness.
Bakura wasn’t impressed. What he was told was the ‘Mighty Goron Village’ was a miserable wreck. The rumblings had shaken the very foundations – the place groaned and creaked like a tomb. And their sacred little chamber was caved in.
The rumblings started again – accompanied by a deep moan. Dust started to fall from the ceiling. Bakura hastily turned and left, heading for the mountain. The further he got, the more the ground shook – and there was the source at the foot. The Great Goron was rolled into a ball, talking to himself and looking pathetic.
Bakura let a small grin twitch across his face, and he slowly approached the cowering beast.
Chapter Three

The Great Goron had passed out. The poison had finally taken hold, and strangled his mind – it had infected and occupied his brain, corrupting and twisting it beyond repair. Zelda looked over the creature. Its eyes were empty – their sentient sparkle had been extinguished. Now it looked like a lost child.
A child that would soon find a new purpose.
Impa screamed. She hurled every curse she could at the Sheikah. He was the one who had deceived the entire Sheikah population – who had made her the enemy of everyone! And now she had poisoned the only person who understood her – and now she was doing the same to the Gorons!

Impa glared - beads of sweat dripped down her forehead - she was getting old. But she was the only one left. Where was Link when you needed him...

Her opponent was waiting for her to make her move. Impa looked around for something - anything that could help her tip the balance against Bakura. But Bakura wasn't going to wait all day.

A droning roar broke the silence around them - neither was the Great Goron.

"Haha! You see? He could crush you. But I can't let him do the dirty work, you're mine!" He lifted his mask and spat at the ground infront of the woman.
"You used to be such a lovely young sheikah, until..."
"Until my mother died!" His scarred eye flared red
ROAR!!!!
